What's new on DOOZY: September Edition
Published: 25th September 2020We launched DOOZY at the height of lockdown to try and make playing remote quizzes easier.
We've come a long way since then, so I thought it was about time I shared an update on everything that's been going on, and what's to come!
Latest updates
๐น Giphy gifs!
Spicing up your quiz just got a whole lot easier. You can now add gifs directly in DOOZY, with the entire Giphy library at your fingertips!
๐ค Robo-DOOZY
Rather than you needing to mark each individual text answer, Robo-DOOZY takes care of marking text-based answers. But don't worry, if he gets one wrong, you can easily adjust the scores.
โฑ Join a quiz after it starts
A common issue we heard from you guys was that users couldn't join a quiz after it had started. We've now added the ability to join after the start of a game โ the host can then choose whether to accept or reject them!
๐ฑ Mobile improvements
We've made a boatload of improvements to make playing and hosting quizzes easier on mobile.
๐ New blog
We launched our blog a couple of weeks ago: check it now. Looking for inspiration on how to create a great new quiz? Our latest post is sure to help.
New Quizzes
We've released a ton of great new quizzes. If you've not had a chance to play them yet, why not host an epic quiz night! Highlights include:
Where's that gif from?! (My fave)
What's next?
We have a ton of features new features on our roadmap โ our goal over the coming weeks is to make it even easier for you to create and host a great quiz. Expect to see sweet new features such as question banks, Pixabay image search and unique question types. Are we missing a feature you'd love to see? Let me know!
Make it better?
We recently sent out a survey asking what we can do to make DOOZY better. If you'd like to have your say, give our survey a go. You'll even be entered into our prize draw, with the chance of winning a ยฃ50 Amazon voucher.
That's all we have for this week. Have a great weekend, stay safe and keep DOOZYing.
