New Manager Role for Delegated Administration

We've introduced a new Manager role that provides the right level of access for team leads and people managers without exposing sensitive administrative functions.

Role Permissions

RoleCapabilities
AdminFull access—billing, integrations, user management, all activities and Tracks
ManagerSchedule activities, create Tracks, manage team dates, view analytics
MemberParticipate in activities, schedule personal quizzes, surveys, and celebrations
DisabledCannot participate in activities (not billed)

What Managers Can Do

  • Schedule quizzes, surveys, polls, and icebreakers
  • Create and manage Tracks for onboarding and workflows
  • Update team member dates (birthdays, anniversaries)
  • View Doozy analytics and reporting

What Managers Cannot Access

  • Billing and subscription management
  • User role assignments
  • Integration configuration
  • Account-level settings

This separation ensures team leads can independently manage their team's engagement activities while maintaining appropriate access controls.
