  • Post in channel: Share in a team or company channel
  • Channel members: Send via DM to each member of a channel
  • Group members: Deliver to members of specific groups
  • Individual: Send to a specific person (great for assistants or team leads)

Rich Text Introductions for Quizzes

Quizzes can now include a rich text introduction that appears before the first question, helping you set the stage for participants.

What You Can Include

The introduction field supports rich text formatting, allowing you to:

  • Explain the purpose of the quiz
  • Provide instructions or rules
  • Set expectations for time limits or scoring
  • Add motivation or context for learning-focused quizzes
  • Include relevant links or resources

Why Introductions Matter

A well-crafted introduction helps participants understand:

  • What to expect: How many questions, how long it will take
  • Why it matters: The purpose behind the quiz (fun, learning, assessment)
  • How to engage: Any special instructions or expectations

This is especially valuable for onboarding quizzes, training assessments, and team-building activities where context enhances the experience.

Ideal Use Cases

  • Hybrid teams: Help people in the same office find time to meet in person
  • Global organizations: Break down geographic silos by connecting colleagues across regions

Quizzes and icebreakers are now more flexible than ever. Beyond posting to Slack channels, you can deliver them directly to the people who need them most.

New Delivery Options

When scheduling a quiz or icebreaker, you can now choose from multiple destinations:

  • Slack Channel: Post publicly in a channel (existing behavior)
