New updates and improvements to Doozy
Redesigned Slack App Home
We've redesigned the Doozy App Home in Slack to surface the information that matters most and make navigation clearer.
What's Coming Up
A new "📅 What's Coming Up" section shows birthdays and work anniversaries happening in the next two weeks. Never miss an opportunity to celebrate your teammates—see at a glance who has a birthday (🎂) or anniversary (🎉) coming up.
Introductions at a Glance
The events section has been replaced with "👥 Introductions" — a dedicated view of your upcoming coffee chats and roulette matches. See the date, time, and who you're meeting, with quick access to details.
Cleaner Organization
We've reorganized the App Home to prioritize what you need most:
- Your pending to-dos and action items at the top
- Upcoming celebrations and introductions
- Quick access to your activities and settings
The result is a more focused experience that helps you stay on top of what matters without the clutter.

Tracks: Add Users & Control Flow
More improvements to Tracks to help you build sophisticated onboarding and training programs.
Add to Track Step
A new step type lets you automatically enroll users in another track as part of their journey. You can either add them immediately or ask if they'd like to join with a customizable invitation message.
This opens up powerful possibilities: chain tracks together for phased onboarding, offer optional deep-dive training after completing a foundation track, or branch users into specialized paths based on their role.
Re-enrollment Control
When manually adding users to a track, you now have control over whether to include users who have previously completed it. This is essential for:
- Refresher training — Re-run compliance tracks annually
- Updated content — Re-enroll everyone when you've updated the material
- One-time programs — Keep the default to exclude previous completers
Users currently in progress are always excluded to prevent duplicates.
Destination Picker for Manual Add
When manually adding users to a track, you now have the full destination picker available. Add users by:
- Individual selection
- New hires
- Managers
- Channel members
- Departments
A confirmation screen shows exactly who will be added before you commit, with a preview of recipients when targeting large groups.

Tracks: Introductions, Channels & More
Since launching Tracks, we've been adding powerful new capabilities based on your feedback. Here's what's new.
Individual Introductions Step
Automatically connect new hires with teammates as part of their onboarding journey. The new Introductions step lets you:
- Introduce users to their manager, specific peers, or random team members
- Choose between all at once or staggered delivery (e.g., one introduction per week)
- Create shared Slack DMs with context about why they're being introduced
This is perfect for buddy programs, cross-team networking, or ensuring new hires meet key stakeholders during their first weeks.
Send Messages to Channels
The Message step now supports posting to Slack channels, not just individuals. Announce new hires to a team channel, share updates with a department, or post training completions to a manager's channel.
Department Filters for Triggers
When using the "User Joined" trigger, you can now filter by department. Only users in specific departments will be added to the track—great for role-specific onboarding or department-specific training programs.
Manager Filter
A new trigger filter lets you create tracks specifically for managers. Build dedicated manager onboarding tracks or leadership development programs that only activate for people with direct reports.
Scheduled Track Delivery
Run tracks on a schedule. Whether it's quarterly compliance training or monthly pulse checks, you can now set tracks to run at specific times and intervals.
CSV Progress Export
Export detailed progress data for any track as a CSV. Each row shows a user's status, completed steps, timestamps, and any failure reasons—essential for compliance reporting and program analysis.

Introducing Tracks
We're thrilled to announce the launch of Tracks — a powerful new way to automate onboarding, training, and any recurring process directly in Slack.
What Are Tracks?
Tracks are automated workflows that guide users through a series of steps. Think of them as programmable journeys you design once and Doozy runs automatically. Each track consists of steps that execute at the right time — sending messages, delivering quizzes, collecting feedback, scheduling introductions, and more.
Build With Steps
Tracks are built from modular step types that you can combine in any order:
- Message — Send personalized messages with dynamic variables like
{{user}}and{{manager}} - Quiz — Test knowledge with interactive, scored quizzes
- Poll — Collect quick feedback with single-question polls
- Survey — Gather detailed insights with multi-question surveys
- Delay — Add time gaps between steps (hours, days, or weeks)
Trigger Automatically
Choose how users enter your tracks:
- User Joined — Start automatically when someone joins your workspace
- Manual — Add specific users when you need precise control
- Schedule — Run at specific times for recurring programs
Track Progress
Monitor completion rates, see who's in progress, and identify where users get stuck. Export detailed CSV reports for compliance and audit purposes.
Common Use Cases
Tracks work brilliantly for new hire onboarding, 30/60/90 day check-ins, compliance training, manager enablement, and any process you want to automate and measure.

Flexible Delivery Options
Choose who receives time off announcements:
- Post in channel: Share in a team or company channel
